Jennie Pu is the Director of Hoboken Public Library, NJ. Under Jennie's leadership, Hoboken has emerged as a beacon for the right to read in the state of New Jersey. She led a successful citywide read-a-thon of banned books and through her efforts, Hoboken Public Library and the City of Hoboken were declared book sanctuaries - the first in New Jersey.

Prior to joining Baltimore County Public Library, she was director of Newport News Public Library and held leadership positions at Virginia Beach Public Library and Enoch Pratt Free Library.
